Nollywood celebrity stylist Hakeem Olaleye, popularly known as
Segun Gele, recently shared his remarkable weight loss journey with fans on social media. Over nearly three years, Segun transformed his body, going from a waistline of 52 to 36, a shirt size of 4XL to XL, and a neck size of 22 to 17.
On January 22, 2022, Segun began his journey with gastric sleeve weight loss surgery, performed by Dr. Carlos Galindo. The surgery marked the beginning of a transformative process that inspired many others. By December 2022, he had traveled to Izmir, Turkey, for dental work by Dr. Olga, allowing him to smile confidently on his 50th birthday.

In September 2023, Segun underwent major surgery in Houston for an upper body lift and excess skin removal by Dr. Stanley Ogu. Reflecting on his journey, Segun emphasized that it was about more than just physical changes; it was about becoming the best version of himself. At 50, he proudly celebrates achieving that vision.
