Ossai Success Sparks Controversy Over Rema’s N105M Donation
Ossai Success, the Senior Media Assistant to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has ignited a heated debate on social media with his recent comments regarding Afrobeat star Rema’s generous donation of 105 million naira to Christ Embassy. Success, reflecting on Rema's rise in the media industry, questioned the spiritual validity of Rema’s gesture. He argued that while the donation is commendable, it would be spiritually hollow if Rema has not fully committed his life to God.
The comments have fueled controversy, particularly in light of recent revelations by trending news outlet Yabaleftonline. According to the outlet, Rema's donation came in response to the significant support he and his mother received from the church. Yabaleftonline reported that Christ Embassy not only welcomed Rema warmly but also opened a shop for his mother following his father’s passing. During his visit, Rema acknowledged the church’s support and the impact it had on his family, framing the donation as an act of gratitude rather than a mere charitable gesture.
The exchange has sparked discussions about the intersection of faith, philanthropy, and personal commitment.
