Street Husband is now streaming free on RuthKadiri247, with Ruth Kadiri and Ujam Chukwunonso leading a new 2026 Nollywood drama-comedy on YouTube.
A fresh feature has joined Nollywood’s busy YouTube release calendar. Street Husband, a new drama-comedy starring Ruth Kadiri and Ujam Chukwunonso, premiered on the RuthKadiri247 channel on October 22, 2026, giving viewers another full-length movie to stream for free.
Running for 2 hours, 8 minutes and 13 seconds, the film arrives with a recognisable ensemble and documented production credits. Its rapid opening-day activity also makes the release a notable addition to this week’s Nollywood News.
Ruth Kadiri leads the Street Husband cast
The advertised principal cast features Ruth Kadiri, Ujam Chukwunonso, Qwasi Blay, Mbong Sule and Cjay Nwoks. Jikoro categorises the feature as a drama-comedy and identifies RuthKadiri247 as its publishing channel.
Behind the camera, Ruth Kadiri Ezerika is credited as director and executive producer. Precious Kadiri serves as producer, while Adaeze Ibechukwu receives the writing credit, according to the film’s FilmFlux listing.
These credits place Kadiri at the centre of the project both creatively and on screen. For viewers who follow actor-led YouTube channels, that combination is part of the appeal: established performers can oversee production, headline the cast and release a feature directly to an online audience through one platform.
Early audience activity gives the release momentum
Public snapshots taken on October 23 indicated a fast start for Street Husband. Jikoro listed approximately 752,000 views and 10,900 likes, while also placing the movie first in its trending selection. A later Zolotube snapshot displayed 833,026 views and 13,000 likes.
Those figures are time-sensitive public platform snapshots rather than unique-viewer analytics, but they still show how quickly attention gathered around the release. They also underline the continuing importance of YouTube as a discovery and distribution space for new Nollywood films.
Where to watch Street Husband
The verified full movie is available free on the official RuthKadiri247 YouTube release. With a runtime of more than two hours, a five-person principal cast and Ruth Kadiri occupying several key creative roles, Street Husband offers viewers a substantial new title for their watchlists.
Its early traction is another reminder that a direct YouTube premiere can turn a new Nollywood feature into an immediate audience event, especially when a familiar screen name is also guiding the production behind the scenes.
