Yet, her thirst for knowledge and cinematic artistry led her beyond the shores of Nigeria to the renowned New York Film Academy, where she honed her skills in digital editing through an intensive 4-week workshop.
Omoni Oboli is not just a multilingual talent, fluent in both English and French, but a multifaceted force in the world of entertainment. Her prowess extends across acting, scriptwriting, directing, and producing, showcasing a versatility matched by few. With an impressive repertoire of screenplays, including the captivating 'Fatal Imagination', the poignant 'Being Mrs Elliott', the trailblazing 'The First Lady', and the uproarious 'Wives on Strike', Omoni has carved her niche as a master storyteller.
Her stellar performances have garnered critical acclaim and numerous accolades. In 2010, she clinched the prestigious Best Actress - Narrative Feature award at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and was hailed as Best Actress at the Harlem International Film Festival. Her remarkable portrayal earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2011 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
