Rita Dominic: The Regal Journey of a Nollywood Icon

Rita Dominic, a distinguished member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family from Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State, Nigeria, was born into a middle-class household in the mid-70s. In 1998, Rita Dominic took a decisive step towards her destiny by joining the Actors Guild of Nigeria and auditioning for her debut role in the movie "Children of Terror." The breakthrough for Rita came in 2004 when she secured the supporting lead role in the movie "Blood Diamond." This marked a turning point in her career as she garnered widespread acclaim for her exceptional performance. From that moment on, Rita Dominic became a household name in the Nigerian film industry.
Over the years, Rita has become a prolific actress, gracing the screens in over 100 Nollywood movies. "77" (Post-production movie): Rita Dominic is to star alongside Ramsey Nouah in the sequel of the renowned movie "76", and the new movie "77", is scheduled to hit the big screen before the end of 2024.
